1. About EQUAA
EQUAA (Education Quality Accreditation Agency) is an international quality-accreditation agency for business and economics schools, incorporated in Peru under RUC 20557320785, with its executive headquarters in Lima, Peru. Its services are offered to educational institutions and professionals worldwide.
2. Acceptance of the terms
By browsing this website, registering, or purchasing any service, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
3. Services and products
EQUAA offers accreditation processes for institutions and programs, event registrations (forums, workshops, the Peer Review Team Workshop), publications and related products. The specific scope, deliverables and timelines of each service are those described on the corresponding page or agreement.
4. Prices, currency and international purchases
Because EQUAA's clients are located in many countries, purchases are generally made from abroad. Unless otherwise indicated, prices are displayed and charged in United States Dollars (USD). The amount debited in your local currency, together with any currency-conversion rate, is determined by your card issuer or bank.
5. Payments through Izipay
Online payments are processed securely through the Izipay payment gateway, which accepts international cards (Visa, Mastercard, and others). EQUAA does not store your full card details; these are handled directly by Izipay under its own security standards. A payment-gateway fee may apply and, where applicable, is shown before you confirm the purchase.
6. Taxes, duties and bank charges
Prices do not include taxes, duties, or bank charges that may be levied in the client's country. Any such amounts, as well as international transaction fees applied by your bank, are the sole responsibility of the client.
7. Confirmation and provision of services
Once a payment is confirmed, the client receives a confirmation by email. Services are provided in accordance with the schedule, requirements and agreement applicable to each product (for example, the accreditation process stages or the event dates).
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the type of service and are stated in the corresponding offer. Event registrations may be non-refundable after the date indicated for each event. Approved refunds are processed through Izipay to the card used for the original payment, and may be subject to gateway or bank fees.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website, together with the EQUAA and INVICTA names, logos, methodologies and materials, is the property of EQUAA and is protected by law. It may not be reproduced or used without prior written authorization.
10. Personal data protection
Personal data provided is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law No. 29733 and its regulations. Data is used to provide the contracted services and to communicate with the client.
11. Limitation of liability
EQUAA provides its services with professional diligence but is not liable for indirect damages, or for failures arising from third parties such as the payment gateway, banks or internet providers, or from force majeure events.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute arising from them shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lima, Peru, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the client's country of residence.
13. Changes to these terms
EQUAA may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
